Sno-Go new Rider Review

Located in Idaho. Rented a Sno-Go to try it out and could not wait to get my own. I needed some relief from 30 years of snowboarding that has taken a tole on my knees and feet. Sno-Go is so much fun and so comfortable. Easy learning curve. I remember that feeling when I i fell in love with snowboarding. It took a few years. but I got that same feeling on the a Sno-Go in just hours. So far I can tackle just about any terrain with confidence and higher speed than I ever did on a board. I swapped to the powder skis as we have been getting hammered with snow. The downside of the powder on a Sno-Go is if is more than 4 or 5 inches the bike really bogs down in the back end. The weight and the design of the rear end really do not allow you to float like a board. I understand there is not much that can be done about that, just something I noticed. I rode in the Teton Mountain Range backcountry for a day on about 24" of light fluff and the bike was way to slow to handle it and had to move to the board for the next couple days. The bike pushed way to much snow and put myself and others at risk of causing slides. 2-5" of powder is ideal. For groomers and hard pack tundra the Sno-Go is a beast. It hold edges very well and leaves boards in the dust. All around one of the funnest winter activities I have ever been involved with. I lay in bed every night envisioning the next trip I get to make. 9 days total on the Sno-Go this season and I am always looking forward to it. Hopefully some more resorts in my area will let them on the lifts. 5 out of 5 stars is an understatement. Sno-Go sales and support are awesome as well.

small learning curve, HUGE Fun. I bought 3!

I bought one to try out, it was amazingly easy to learn, plus I have a shattered leg that prevents me skiing these days, but on the Snow-Go, I am just fine. I MISSED SKIING!!!! I've had other newbies out on these bikes. They were both able to handle 80%+ of the mountain after only a half day of practice on the bike! They are just as fun as skiis or snowboards but way less time/effort to learn AND way less physical effort overall! Comfortable boots, no buring quads... LOVE THESE MACHINES!!!!

Amazing!

Rented one of these bikes 1 day and was hooked! Had so much fun riding these with a crew of friends and decided to buy one. Called the company and the staff was very friendly and helpful. These are a must try. Hopefully they grow in popularity and more ski resorts allow them on the hill.
